How long does it take to receive the invitation to take oath of allegiance?

I passed my Naturalization interview last week, do you know how long it will take to get the inviation to go take the oath?
I live in Southern California. so i will have the ceremony in Los Angles office. i heard there's one ceremony every month but if it's crowded, it can take months.
How do i know if FBI has cleared my name or not? where do i find out?

Judging by what I've heard frpm most citizenship applicants, it takes about a month. Has your name check been cleared? If the FBI is still doing your name check, it can take a while. I suggest calling the USCIS and checking with them.

Additional info: To find out whether or not your name check has been cleared, you should contact your local congressman and have his office initiate a formal inquest to the Congressional Office. Contrary to popular belief, it's not a very complicated procedure. However, I would give it another month or so before doing this. Sometimes it takes a few weeks for applicants to get oath letters. Also, did your interviewing officer say that he/she will recommend your application for approval?
